It was the first day of our meeting in Portugal. First the Opening Ceremony took place. Our wonderful hosts welcomed all participants wishing all of us fruitful, joyful and unforgettable meeting in Benavente.

All participantes were invited to the stage. Foreign students stood next to their hosts and their task was to introduce each other to the rest of Erasmus plus group. They said few nice things about their “brothers and sisters” which was funny and sometimes very touching. The teachers performed similar activities. Their challenge was to describe the colleague they were chosen by. It was absolutely amazing and we had a great fun.

International teams got some materials and their task was to use them to build the highest tower they could. It shouldn't fall down. At the beginning it seemed impossible but they managed. The jury consisting of teachers chose the winners. Congratulations !!!

One of the Portuguese teachers explained the rules of the game. All participante got very excited. They seem to have a great fun for the next few days. We will see the results of this fascinating game on the board on Wednesday.

One of the Portuguese teachers explained the rules of the game. All participante got envelopes and decorated them with their names and nice drawings. Then they hang them on the board. During the next days the participants should write nice messages to each other and put into the envelopes. Everybody will get their envelope on the last day of the mobility to take and read at home.

Each team went to the Portuguese classroom to present themselves, their school and to explain how they live the democracy in their schools.
